Stoke Ski Centre is an all season 120m dry slope ski resort. From ski/snowboard lessons available to suit all levels (pre-booking essential), for both adults and children, to the great race team and the freestyle team. They have lots of well trained, enthusiastic members of staff, waiting to assist you in your snowsports journey. Their well trained instructors make the skiing fun and yet safe - they even cater for kids' parties!

Stoke Scorpions are a ski race club incorporated within Stoke Ski Centre. They offer ski race coaching to children and adults and draw many of their members from those who have completed the higher level lessons at the Ski Centre.

​

Training is held every Tuesday evening throughout the year from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and also Saturday afternoons 1.00pm to 4.00pm and is open to anyone who, having been assessed by the coaches, meets the minimum standard of parallel turns and the ability to stop safely at speed. All of their coaches are qualified by and registered with Snow Sports England coaching scheme and are also registered as instructors with either SSE, BASI or CSIA.

As a ski race club their main emphasis is on the development of ski racing. Their younger members, who are just starting out compete throughout the summer and winter at different fun races held around the country by other ski clubs and of course at their own summer race events. They also have a number of more experienced skiers who compete for Stoke Scorpions at the highest level nationally during the summer and internationally throughout the winter season.
